Firefox 1.0 Released! 
Today is the public release of the Firefox web browser. It is a much better browser than I.E. and perhaps one of features folks rave about the most is the "Tabbed Browsing" feature, that allows you to open mutiple pages in seperate tabs of the same browser window. Some other really cool features that I like:
- Bookmark Keywords (set a word/letter for a site you have bookmarked and all you type in the address bar is that word and the site is loaded);
- Live Feed Bookmarks (you can add an RSS Feed as a bookmark folder and it will update with the feed to link to the feed's contents);
- Highlight Search (not sure what this is officially called, but if you highlight a piece of text on a web page, you can right click and search for that text on Google);
- Keystroke search (find a word in a page by just typing the word, the browser will highlight the first occurence if it finds one).
- Almost forgot - it blocks popups!! (Almost forgot about this since it does it so well you almost forget that they exist)
There are lots of other features, that's all I can think of right now that I really like.
